The almost-legendary event returns!
Two short years ago, the inaugural Once & Done event raised more than $80,000 for the
Boys & Girls Club of Central PA and drew more than 1,500 participants. Hosted by the PA Turnpike Commission on their new Susquehanna River Bridges, the event began the Once & Done legacy of conducting races and walks in unique settings.
The Most Important Reward
We can practically guarantee that every participant, supporter and spectator will have an eventful of good times. But the most important result won’t be a top finisher’s time. It will be the difference everyone’s participation makes in the lives of the hundreds of youth who make the Boys & Girls Club their second home.
Each day, the clubhouses provide a safe haven to at-risk young men and women during the vulnerable after-school and summer hours. The Club’s supportive environments make each The Positive Place for Kids.
Your support of this edition of the Once & Done Run will allow our youth development professionals to continue to guide and inspire these young lives so they develop the attitudes and life skills needed to make sound choices and achieve their maximum potential.
Come One, Come All
This event is for individuals of all ages and all levels of participation. The first Once & Done brought in many of the region’s top 5K runners as well as others who ran, walked or pushed strollers in the 2 mile run/walk. Let’s not forget to mention all the kids who made their mad dashes to the finish line in the Kids Fun Run races.
This year opens up the opportunity for businesses or other organizations who wish to show their solidarity in the new Once & Done Corporate Challenge. Teams of four will participate in the 5K race, with winners determined by the lowest combined times of all members, with trophies awarded to the top three teams.

5K RACE/2 MILE WALK/RUN:
$25 Early Registration until September 30, 2009 (Postmarked by September 29th)
$30 Late Registration/Packet Pick-Up on October 1 & 2, 2009
CORPORATE CHALLENGE:
$400 for registration of 4-person team
KIDS FUN RUN:
$10 Early Registration until September 30, 2009
